We first ran into the folks from Purdy's at a meet the chef event in Toronto. Their fresh caught lake Huron whitefish was on the menu, and it was amazing.
So we thought we'd drive out to their docks at Point Edward on the shores of the beautiful St. Clair River and find out about fishing on the great lakes.

Turns out this family has quite a history of fishing here, so we'll learn all about it, the fish they catch, and maybe even eat one of their famous dockside pickerel dinners.
