Around here we grew up making pickles and jams with Ma and Gran... As a kid I hated picking fruit or veg out in the garden in the morning, and then spending the afternoon in the kitchen. But the jam sure was great all winter long.
Now that I'm a little older, it's not a chore at all - don't be afraid, we'll pick recipes that are easy and only make a few jars at a time.
