How To Make Whipped Cream

Even if you aren't convinced that making whipped cream at home is easy (it is), please just once give it a try. I guarantee that you'll never look at that other stuff ever again.
Ingredients:
1 cup of whipping cream or heavy cream (30% fat or more)
1 tblsp of sugar (regular table or super-fine)
1 tsp pure vanilla extract (optional)
Method:
-Make sure that the cream is well chilled (Yeah just keep it the fridge).
-You can (but don't really need to) chill the mixing bowl as well.
-Using your hand mixer / wire whisk / stand mixer / two forks - start whipping the cream. (slowly at first so it doesn't spray everywhere).
-Once it starts to thicken (you'll know, trust me) add sugar and optional flavouring.
-Continue whipping until 'soft' peaks form. You can tell if you lift your beater out, a peak will form and them slump slightly.
One cup of cream makes 2 cups of whipped cream.
That's it. Serve.
Tips for whipping cream:
-Keep everything cold
-Don't add sugar and flavouring too early
-Fine sugar (even icing sugar) allows the cream to "stay whipped" and keep it's shape better.
Options:
You don't need to add the vanilla, and in fact the flavour variations are almost endless... You could add Cocoa Powder, chocolate flakes, coffee, etc.
